Heya, i wanna grow my hair slightly longer into this style. Only problem is that it is straighten but looks so thick! Any ideas on how to straighten thick hair?

divide ur hair into smaller sections (about square inch) like diff sections and straiten the sections with a iron.

umm i'm a girl, but i also have thick hair that can get really annoying, so here's what you do: go to the salon and ask them to thin it out, they should use this tool that looks sort of like scissors and then they grab onto some of the hair at the top of your head and use the tool to take it off - it really lightens up thick hair. also ask them for long, loose layers - it should acheive this style without making your hair look thicker. don't forget to use styling product after you straighten, that always helps; rub a little bit of thick hair wax into your hands and then run your hands through your hair. it will make your hair shiny and hold it's shape.
