Hi,
my hair is naturally quite messy curly and i straighten it using hair straightners and I use hair product, shockwaves xtrovert rough and ready clay to be exact. Both these help keep my hair straight and work fine and my hair stays straight. However when i sweat e.g. when playing sport or something or comes into contact with water, my hair starts returning to its messy curly state which i dont want.
Is there anything i can do to help prevent this...could it be the product im using or any other suggestions to help prevent this..
THANX A BUNCH!!!!!
HELP!!??!! hair styling problems!!?
I hate to say this but no. Your hair is naturally this way, so when water hits it well, it will go right back. Because some or all of your product has run out. I know of no product that will put it right back or keep it from doing this. You found that, but when it gets rained out you are back to your normal hair.
Sounds like you have a product that works for you. So no other product will do any different. So sorry

why don't you just straighten it everyday. people who have curly hair wants straight and people with straight hair want curly

You can get a permanent straitening like a perm or something. That does'nt come out for months.

it depends on what hair straightners you use - if you use ghd ones your hair WILL NEVER GO WAVY - thats a fact - if you dont have ghd i suggest you buy them, also , if u thin your hair at the hairdressers its less likely to go wavy, also always blow dry your hair straight. i recommend bed head after party - its a pink bottle for your hair to keep it sleek and shiny 12 quid but worth it, BUT BUY GHDS I SWEAR.

Hair products and tools are to TEMPORARILY straighten your hair. There's not much you can do about your curl/wave pattern without chemically straightening. No matter what product you use it will curl back up.
A texturizer will make your hair more manageable, however, a relaxer will take out most if not all of your curls. This option will make it harder for your hair to just curl back up like it used to (not the best if you want to rock your curly hair once in awhile), otherwise the only advice I have for you is to only straighten your hair if you know you're not going to be playing sports or going to get wet. In the cases where you know this will happen, just rock the curls. (This is what I do, because I have the same problem %26amp; I'm a cosmetology student.)
Also, if your problem is that your curls are not defined, use a serum or your fav hair product while using a diffuser, don't AIR DRY. Hope this works.
