iv started to style and color my hair at home. Im havin tons of fun with it, and its pretty cheap (compared to a stylist)., So far iv had no problems., im actually pretty good at it (great results with all attemps). I want to continue, Does anyone have any tips or secrets to help me up with my growing obsession. Maybe i'll take this to a new level. Anything you got about anyhting hair ,,.. give it to me!

Most important thing to know about hair color: you can always go darker with dye but never lighter. In order to go lighter, you have to use bleach. If you're not careful with bleach, you'll damage your hair. After awhile, putting color over color will make the hair porous and you won't keep getting good results. Condition it after every shampoo.

make sure you dont go real dark straight away, and go in light to dark stages :)

to start off, make sure you use shampoo and conditioner made for color hair. and gel and spray and moose....

i know that if you use lotion, it will keep your hair really soft, and you can acutally style it with lotion, but keep in mind, someone runs their hands through it and it can get messey. but lotion is good for it too.
