Blowdrying your hair kills your hair!!! It drys it out and damages your hair. Let your hair air dry, just make sure to use a leave in creme/spray to protect your hair.

Most of the time when you're doing this you're using the cool shot on the dryer to lock in shine. So no, it's not damaging.
But continuing to heat blow-dry already dry hair, especially without a thermal spray, is horribly damaging.
