I have thin hair, not much body, a little wave depending on how it's cut, but mostly just straight.
What styling would I need for this cut? Does this cut require thicker hair? Could I air-dry or would I have to blow-dry?
Any advice about this cut is appreciated! 10 points to the most helpful...

After you shower add volumizing mousse evenly throughout your hair and blow dry with your head upside down to get more volume. If your hair is not naturally very straight you may have to take a straightener to it to get the bangs to look like the picture. To finish styling your layers add hair putty or hair wax and that will make your hair stay up in chunky jagged layers.

probably thin - medium hair.
you would probably have to blow dry to hold the shape.
and ask your stylist about products!

I'm in love with that picture!! The hair style is so cool!! I have thin hair too, without much body, and I think that style would work perfectly with our type of hair. I also think that air-drying would work. But watching the hairdresser blow it dry would be interesting. And be sure to ask her what she's putting on your hair before she blows it dry. (They always put something on there without telling you what it is!! I hate that!!) Good luck! I hope you love it. :)

Well you would need a little body in your hair, however you don't want it too heavy or you will not be able to achieve the choppy look in the back. You would have to blow dry and use hair wax it is awesome.

Oh my gawd, that's the haircut I've been working on myself - you kind of need an angled do, I've spiked my back but you can gel it to go the sides like that with pomeade
It's best with a straightener and lots of product to make it stay, love the pic

ok what i think you should do is ask ur stylist that did ur hair what would be the cutest way to style it because she knows your hair almost as much as you, i can guarantee. i think by the picture and ur description of your hair, you should straighten it over, like the model in the picture, and even try scrunching it at night and wearing it curly. i dont think this style was meant for thick hair. i have very thick hair and i think that if i tried that cut, my hair would be a very big poof ball !!! lol ! i think you could dry it both ways. i hope u get the hair u want ! good luck ! :)

Take the pic to the person who cuts your hair and she will do her best to make your hair like that. When I wanted my hair a certain I'd look in a mag and pic out a hair style I liked and my cousin Nikki did it that way. Good Luck!
