I have aussie sprunch spray and normal hair styling gel how do i get the wet scrunch look?

I have aussie sprunch spray and normal styling gel what do i do to get that wet scrunched look?

I have aussie sprunch spray and normal hair styling gel how do i get the wet scrunch look?

you apply a hockey puck size of mousee in your hair and scrunch for about 5 minutes in different places. Next you get your gel and get a quarter size of that in your hand and scrunch for about 5 more minutes then your hair will have that cute look.

I have aussie sprunch spray and normal hair styling gel how do i get the wet scrunch look?

try a blow dryer with a DIFFUSER! on a medium to low setting.

I have aussie sprunch spray and normal hair styling gel how do i get the wet scrunch look?

Apply the gel first, then the sprunch....do this when your hair is wet. Blow dry ,scrunching your hair with your hands. You get best results if you turn your hair dryer on the lowest setting.

I have aussie sprunch spray and normal hair styling gel how do i get the wet scrunch look?

ew. im not fond of the aussie products. :[ they make my hair look reallllllllly oily

I have aussie sprunch spray and normal hair styling gel how do i get the wet scrunch look?

after i wash my hair, i towell dry it, and then put gel through my hair, then i spray the aussie all over and work it through with my fingersand scrunch it with your hands, then i put all my hair ontop of my head, and tie it in a bun with a scrunchie, it dries and when you let it down it looks great!!!! good luck

I have aussie sprunch spray and normal hair styling gel how do i get the wet scrunch look?

when your hair is still wet, bend over flipping your hair over your face so you are kinda upside down... and then put the styling gel into your hands and rub your hands togehter... then spread it throughout your hair evenly.. then scrunch it up together with your hands and also towards your head.. then use the aussie spray and spray that also evenly over your hair. then go back to scrunching it all over and use a blow dryer on the low setting WHILE youre scrunching it up together.

i hope that makes sense.. haha

I have aussie sprunch spray and normal hair styling gel how do i get the wet scrunch look?

towl dry damp hair and then flip your head over and spray the scrunch spray all over your hair and scrunch it with your hands, then take your gel and put some on your hands and work it into your hair then scrunch your hair with your fingers. Then take your hairdryer on low and dry your hair just a little then put all of your hair up on the top of your head until it is almost dry then take it down and blow dry it the rest of the way and there ya go!

Hair Styles with Shoulder length hair???

I just got a shoulder length hair cut but whenever i put it up not even high my hair falls out of the ponytailer? Any suggestions or hair styles?

Hair Styles with Shoulder length hair???

If you have side bangs it would look really cute simply straight.

OR you could keep your bangs straight (putting them to the side of course!) and have the back wavy/curly.

And with any style you decide to do try putting a hair piece that has jewel's in it, whether it be a clip or a pin.

Hope this helps!

Hair Styles with Shoulder length hair???

i like the cute little pig tails with shorter hair, half of it back.

use some ribbon like with the half back or all up and the ribbon with take the attention to that i love ribbons in my hair

also try some bobbi pins to put ur bangs back or like kinda twist some sections back and clip them, you can do alot with short hair by just playing around after you get a shower and trying new things!

Hair Styles with Shoulder length hair???

what about a half pony on top with wisps of your bangs hanging out.

What does better hair styling: spray or pomades?

Spray is for long hair, pomade is for short hair.

What does better hair styling: spray or pomades?

I prefer pomades....you have better control. Just remember not to use too much or else it will feel greasy.

What does better hair styling: spray or pomades?

I think you need the pomade for the styling, and if you have really short hair a very strong holding hairspray.

Spray

Would I look good with loose curls? [Includes pictures] [Various hair styling questions]?

http://i20.tinypic.com/a0jwh1.png %26lt;- That's me. I usually wear my hear up with a messy bun, plain pony tail, sometimes low pig tails, but would I pull off the loose curls look? Also, it would be nice if you could include details on how to scrunch my hair. I have Garnier's Surf Hair gel/cream thing. But, my hair is SO straight, I can't even get it to scrunch. So, I'm wondering if I can pull off the loose curls like this -%26gt; http://z.about.com/d/prom/1/7/I/0/-/-/ln...

Also, what curling iron should I get? What size? How do I curl my hair with it?

Would I look good with loose curls? [Includes pictures] [Various hair styling questions]?

I think it would look great, keep your fringe straight though

I have GHD's and just twist the irons while I am running them through my hair.

Or Babyliss do a straightener now called You Curl which is supposed to be good, I have not tried them though. There is a video demonstration on their web site if you want to have a look.

Would I look good with loose curls? [Includes pictures] [Various hair styling questions]?

I think you would look good with those curls. I'm not sure if you could be able to curl your hair, although plenty of Asians I know with hair like yours curl it all the time. If you can't do it yourself, you might just have to leave it to the professionals for prom, homecoming, etc.

Would I look good with loose curls? [Includes pictures] [Various hair styling questions]?

just try wateva u want to, we cant tell u how u'll look, do it yourself and if u dont like it well then thats ur deal

Would I look good with loose curls? [Includes pictures] [Various hair styling questions]?

I think you're hair would look really go with loose curls and you put it up in a high pony tail with a ribbon in it.=)

Would I look good with loose curls? [Includes pictures] [Various hair styling questions]?

I am a hairstylist, honestley no wait till you hair grows out more then you could pull it off. It may turn out too curly for your length.

A curling Iron use a salon one if you hair is really straight and will not move even with Gel or hairspray. I would get a small a lot better then the larger ones easier to curl and control. You wrap your hair around it, and hold it for a few then untwist your hair. Start from bottem up.

Would I look good with loose curls? [Includes pictures] [Various hair styling questions]?

yeah those curls would look ggod on you

When should hair be given a break from styling?

Usually i'd gel and spray my hair everyday, then wash it out with shampoo at night. should i give my hair a break on the weekends as well?

When should hair be given a break from styling?

I style everyday, but I do it after I take showers in the morining, so I guess its ok, as long as you really don't need to...

When should hair be given a break from styling?

It is the shampoo, not the water that dries out your hair- only put shampoo on the roots! There is enough shampoo that goes through the rest of your hair when you rinse it. Also, use only NON alcohol products to avoid drying hair and skip the blow dryer whenever possible.

Any cute hair styling ideas you can share with me?

Yup, and it's easy.

Looks best on long, layered hair:

After washing and conditioning add some Aussie Dual Personaility Volumizing foam to the hair and work through. Brush hair and loose the brush after that. Grab a blow dryer and aim the air right at your roots pointing up and at the sections of hair by your forehead. Tilt head from side to side repeating the actions with the dyer.

Ex: When head is tilted to the left, the dryer should be on the right side of your head. Don't forget to do this in the back for volume.

Never use a brush when blowdrying. Brush before and after but never during because chances are that you don't have the proper styling brush.

When you're done you can run a flat iron through any undesired waves and the top sections of your hair for a sleek, polished look.

Parted on the side or in the middle, it's a simple, easy to do straightening method that looks great.

I did this on my sister's hair the other day:

1: Twist hair into a regular bun, pulling the tail through to make a knot.

2: Twist the tail of hair and tuck back under the bun. Since my sister's hair is just below her shoulders, part of the hair wouldn't tuck under and stayed sticking out through the middle of the bun; it looked really cute.

3: Secure with two "hair forks". (Things like this: http://www.argusdesigns.com/products/for... I have some longer ones which hold the hair in place better.)

What are the best hair styling products for natural curly hair...?

I like Garnier Fructis. Don't use BedHead.

What are the best hair styling products for natural curly hair...?

I agree with Garnier Fructis, it isent too expensive and it works well.

What are the best hair styling products for natural curly hair...?

Paul Michell super skinny syndrome

What are the best hair styling products for natural curly hair...?

Garnier Fructis works great and it's not to expensive. I would also suggest Dove products.

What are the best hair styling products for natural curly hair...?

i've tried just about every brand of styling product for my naturally curly hair, and i have found that suave's "healthy curls" scrunching mousse works the best. i usually blow dry my hair using a diffuser and with low heat after i apply the mousse. this stuff is cheap and it works! i've recommended it to all of my friends with curly hair, and they love it!

if you decide not to use a diffuser and would rather allow your hair to air dry, the suave will work, but i've found that using john frieda's frizz-ease "dream curls" curl perfecting spray works better for this drying method.

good luck! hope this helps.

What are the best hair styling products for natural curly hair...?

Gotta give Mixed Chicks (http://www.mixedchicks.net) a shot. It's a simple system. And it doesn't make my naturally curly hair sticky.

Which hair styling would be better for a homecoming? a hair jel that gets rock hard or a wax?

i have mid ear long hair and im a guy.

i like to get that messy look, help please?

Which hair styling would be better for a homecoming? a hair jel that gets rock hard or a wax?

I'd say a wax. You don't want to impale her with your spiky hair. Sorry couldn't resist. Anyways, what if she wants to start playing with your hair while you're dancing? How can she do that if you use that jell?

Which hair styling would be better for a homecoming? a hair jel that gets rock hard or a wax?

Bedhead products are the best, there is this little blue one that would be perfect for the hairstyle you are looking for, i just can not remember the name at the moment.

Which hair styling would be better for a homecoming? a hair jel that gets rock hard or a wax?

Ice Spiker by Joico.

What's the best hair styling product to make my hair look messy/choppy?

It depends on the length of your hair, but I've always used Redken Rewind. Just rub it in your hands until it looks like a spiderweb when you pull your hands apart. It's really sticky. Take a small amount from your palms onto your fingertips and just shake your hands through your hair randomly, then pull at the ends to make it look chunky %26amp; pieced out. A wax based product would work better than a gel. Good luck!

What's the best hair styling product to make my hair look messy/choppy?

Gel, gel, gel. I use John Frieda for curly hair--works so good.

Need hair style help!!!?

i have long red curly hair my hair goes down to middle back and i need a style to do my hair and dont know what to do help please

Need hair style help!!!?

Try tying the front back leaving a small strip out while the rest flows down your back. you said you had long red curly hair right? Sounds gorgeous!

Need hair style help!!!?

How about a nice messy bun, always cute.

Or half ponytail always looks cool.

Maybe you can try parting your hair a different way.

ummm or the wet look, like when you get out of the shower just put a bunch of moouse and hairspray for it to stay.

Need hair style help!!!?

try a high ponytail or cut to make it short like a little below your shoulder. that way you could say rebel but also keep it simple if you add the braid. if you with the high ponytail, you'll say I'm popular and the curls will add a bounce touch.

Need hair style help!!!?

i have long curly hair too and i always find parting it on the right hand side, and then wearing it half up half down looks really cute. do NOT pull it tight though, if you give it a little poof and let a couple cute natural short pieces down in the front, it can be very eloquent :) OR i like to part my hair on the side and put it in a nice little high bun with litlte curly cue pieces. and i discovered just recently you can actually CURL your curly hair, to get a softer curl, so i always curly my front pieces. WOW that was long i hope it helped you :)

Need hair style help!!!?

Flat Iron it, then put it in a pony tail and curl it a little bit, my cousins hair is long and she puts hers like that and hers is natural curly.

Hope this helps if this is not what you are looking for you can visit the following:http://www.hairstyle.com/

Hair wax.....styling product??

Not like, hair remover wax but the styling wax...

First of all, like, what is it..it is similar to gel? Also, how would you style with it. And, I have oily hair......will the wax make it even more oily? And the last thing...how much do you put in, where, What brand, and is it hard to get out??

Sorry for all the questions...but Im confused about it.

Thanks!!

Hair wax.....styling product??

Wax is usually used to style a males short hair. ive used it before, but ive found it always tend to "melt" and your hair doesnt stay how you styled its not really similar to gel. you need to experiment with it, if you use as less as possible the better itll work, and wont "melt" in the sun. It can be hard to get out if too much is used, which alot of guys do, they dont understand it wasnt meant to be like a gel, it was meant to look more natural, like you didnt have any product in your hair. Dax wax is really good, ive used it before. it look like this: http://www.feelconfident.co.uk/images/da... And i just found a picture of what can be done with it, lol :http://siiigrun.blogg.no/images/img_0103...

Hair wax.....styling product??

hair wax is pretty thick and is for piecing out your hair for texture. and a little goes a long way. you don't need that much for piecing out your hair. you have to let us know what you want to do to your hair so we can give you the right products to use.

Hair wax.....styling product??

Hair wax makes your hair chunky and seperated (best for shorter hair or just the ends of long hair). It shouldn't make your hair oilier as long as you don't use too much. I don't use it so I don't know a good brand. I use Pomade, which doesn't stiffen your hair like wax, but seperates it and makes it shiny. It rinses out with water.

Hair styling trouble!?

I wash my hair every morning with Suave daily clarifying shampoo and then I blow dry it. Sometimes I straighten it but either way it becomes stringy and flips out in at least 30 minutes!! I also have trouble with oily hair so I try not to put too many products in it. Please help.

Hair styling trouble!?

I would advise you to get a professional shampoo/conditioner. I like L'anza(the one for volume), Biologe makes a good one if $ is a problem. Try Normailzine shampoo and Detangling Solution. It is a nice light conditioner that won't way your hair down. You would then want to use a heat protecting product, Silky Smooth Moisture Serum by S Factor(tigi) is good. just make sure your not putting it on your roots, this will make your hair oily. You need to protect your hair from heat damage. When you drying your hair ideally you want to round brush to get good volume but if that is too hard try a hot air styler. It is a blow dryer that is kinda in the shape of a curling iron and it comes with different attachments. If you have more questions you can email me directly.

Hair styling trouble!?

okay well first of all, drop the suave. suave is terrible, cheap, crappy shampoo. buy something professional and expensive. also, clarifying shampoo might not be your best bet if it's making your hair look like that. try a shampoo for oily hair. also, when you blow dry it, make sure you use a round brush and brush the hair that you are drying. don't just flip your head over and blow dry everything cuz that will give you a crazy stringy, frizzy, afro thing. also, products are more likely to help hide the oily problem rather than not putting anything in it at all. don't use products when you straighten your hair..not to mention, straightening your hair if it's naturally greasy, isn't a good idea, since hair always gets greasier if it's straight. try scrunching your hair when it's wet with mousse and/or gel and hairspray when you get out of the shower, rather than blow drying it.

Hair styling trouble!?

2 words: Hairspray.

I deal with the same problem. I just take small sections of my hair (After I strighten it) and spray at least one pump of spray on it. That does the trick. XD

What hair styling products were used during the 60's %26amp; 70's?

Dippity-Do for women and Grecian Formula for Men. These were early, and badly done, forms of gels. Also, aerosol hair sprays that blew the hole in the ozone. AquaNet is the only one I can think of. These were not products but were popular ways to change your hair - women who wanted the wild curly/kinky hair would braid it in two braids when it was wet, sleep on it overnight, and in the morning they had cool, frizzed out hair. ( I did it) Women with curly hair got the straight hair look by ironing it on an ironing board. (My sister did that.) She also would put her hair up in one pony tail at the top of her head, then divide it in two pieces, rolling each section over frozen orange juice containers to straighten it. (Yes, they were empty.)

What's the best shampoo/conditioner/styling product for curly hair?

I have permed, thick, long, curly hair. Any ideas?

What's the best shampoo/conditioner/styling product for curly hair?

I have used SOO many different types of hair products to manage my thick curly hair. The product I have found to work the very best is Herbal Essence Totally Twisted. It calms the frizz and makes my hair even bouncier and curlier! I love it. It smells very good as well and it's not that expensive. Good luck. =)

What's the best shampoo/conditioner/styling product for curly hair?

Paul MItchell has a great product line. It's more expensive than the kind of product you buy at a discount store, but definitely worth the extra money. They all smell real nice, too. Personally, a product can be fantastic, but if I don't like the fragrance I won't use it. You can buy the products at your hair salon, or beauty supply warehouse/store.

Check out the link.

What's the best shampoo/conditioner/styling product for curly hair?

The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate-free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells absolutely awesome! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! They have an Organix Curling Citrus Mango Collection which is incredible! You can get Organix at Target, Albertsons, Duane Reade, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, Kroger, Jewel, Safeway, etc. You'll love it!!!

I heard that some hairstylists put ocean water in a spray bottle any spritz on to hair to make beachy waves. If you don't live near an ocean you can use this product from folica.com called Sedu Beach Beauty Sea Salt Spray.

Mousse/Hair Styling Products for Fine wavy hair!?

I, too have a lot of fine hair, but not so wavy. I love the Sunsilk, Anti-Flat weightless volumizing cream. It smells nice and doesn't leave your hair greasy. Good luck.

Mousse/Hair Styling Products for Fine wavy hair!?

I'm not really sure, but it sounds like you already have waves but it may be frizzy? If so, you should get a (shine?) serum or gloss to cut down on the frizziness. I hear Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum works well. I personally use something called Porcelain, I think. Also, Sunsilk Frizz Ease works well on stoping frizz also and it may help your waves (it defines my curls).

I hope this helps. If not, hopefully someone has good tips! :]

What's gd for hair styling?

What should i use for my hair to make it look all spiked up nice?

if i use gel,i am afraid that later my hair might start dropping.

What's gd for hair styling?

Use mousse then cover with small amount of hairspray...gauranteed to hold all day long!

Hair styling help?

i cant get the messy look that i am going for, i can get the front part up but nothing else. can someone give me some tips?

Hair styling help?

Use extra hold hair spray or gel on wet hair. Bend over so that your hair is somewhat sticking straight up and then blow dry it while you are running your fingers through your hair. If you blow dry it while your head is upside down, then you are making your roots stick up and that will create the messy look. This is what my brother does because he has the same problem that you do and this helps him. Hopefully this will help you too!

learn how to use a flat iron, then your hair will do anything..lol

Hair styling help?

dont brush it when you get out the shower and sleep on it then rewet it gel and hair spray it really good

Hair styling help?

try using some wax or pomade on your hair wet, then blowdrying in different directions to get that piecy, all over the place look.

How bad is hair styling products (ie, hair gel) for hair loss?

Well gels and mousse have a tendency to dry the hair out really bad which can lead to breakage, and this will make you already thining hair look even worse. You can try washing and air drying and using a moisterizer...

Question about hair styling?

My hair has gotten to about the length I want it (about chin length all the way around), and I'm just wondering how to easily give it a "crunchy, always wet" look. One of my friends suggested "Wet Gel," but from what I've read that looks basically the same as Pomade. Any tips?

Question about hair styling?

I've never heard of "Wet" Gel, but using a Gel or a Spray Gel would give you a crunchy effect.

Your hair may do the same thing with a pomade but pomade doesn't really "dry" like a gel does, it remains pliable... so if you use a pomade you'll want to use a hairspray on top of it to give you a more wet look.

But gels are better for what you are looking for. I'm a big fan of spray gels myself cuz it's just easier to apply than a traditional gel, cuz then you don't get gloppy spots, you can apply it more evenly.

A tip... once your hair is styled, keep your fingers out of it... especially once the gel is dry, cuz touching it/running your fingers through your hair will kind of break up the gel and your hair will lose that wet crunchy look.

Good luck!

What are some alternatives to gel for styling hair?

I've always used hair gel for my hair...I don't necessarily want to style it, it's just that my hair is very thick and just...poofy looking. So I use gel to keep it looking sleek. I just don't really like using gel because it makes my hair look wet and it feels hard and that bothers me...like nobody can touch my hair with gel in it. And then I have to wash it out before I go to sleep or it feels gross.

So any other alternatives to hair gel? I just don't want my hair looking all frizzy (it's completely straight, no waves or curls).

What are some alternatives to gel for styling hair?

I think water is the best hair styler. You get your natural hair color and no glossiness and/or sticky/hard crap in your hair.

What are some alternatives to gel for styling hair?

There a SO MANY alternatives to gel, but one could only speculate which one would be the best one for you. The best person to ask is your hairdresser. They can recommend the right product for you based on your desired results and texture of your hair.

What hair style is suitable for me?

i have oval face shape. i am a little bit chubby girl. since i was 6 years old until now (23 years old), my hair style is still the same and i am getting bored with this hair style (tie all my hair at the back). i have very curl and wavy hair (original) but i dont want to straighten it. i also have long hair.please tell me how should i change my hair style.help me......

What hair style is suitable for me?

Well if your hair is curly, is best to leave it down and make it looks neat. and get bangs!

Or you can get shoppy layers and choppy bangs and start straightening it.

Cut it all off like I did!

Money Saving tips on Afro American Hair Styling?

Im going to be in a wedding in a couple of weeks and I wanted some advice on what would be a cheaper choice for getting my hair done professionally. Cutting it in particular, I figured I could just relax it at home since thats what I have been doing for the past 5-6yrs. What I really want to know is if I relax my hair at home, should I have my hair cut befor or after I relax ? OR should I just scroung up the money and have the hair dresser cut, perm, and press my hair all on the morning of the wedding? If so, about how much will this cost me?

Money Saving tips on Afro American Hair Styling?

As far as when to relax your hair you want to do it before the cut.

I would not normally suggest it but if you are having it colored or styled later you do not want to style it before you relax it.

Also by relaxing it first your scalp will have settled down and not be so sensitive when you have your style done.

Again I would not usually advice this but it has to do with the order of events and not committing to too many treatments in one day.

There is no way it will be affordable if you have all the treatments done at once.

I would call the salon and ask what they charge for a relax, cut and style.

They may offer a slight discount or include a cut and style with the relaxer so ask them first.

If is say $100 dollars for all three treatments and $80 for two it might be worth it to let the salon do the whole job.

You know how your hair responds to relaxing as you have had it done before.

I am not sure I would wait to the last minute in case you are not happy with the results.

Get it done now or at least do you relaxer now and the stylist can press it or blow dry it to give you the texture and style you need to look marvelous at the wedding.

Money Saving tips on Afro American Hair Styling?

u should cut it after u relax it

Money Saving tips on Afro American Hair Styling?

You should cut it after you perm it. One question though, why would you need to press your hair after you've relaxed it? You're just begging for damage that way. You should be able to get a perm, cut and style for about $100.

Money Saving tips on Afro American Hair Styling?

relax it yourself save some money..........then go and get it cut

Money Saving tips on Afro American Hair Styling?

Continue to do your hair yourself, do you really want to cut your hair for a wedding? The maintenance after that will be consistent and expensive.

Well, you can always flat iron it, but that can damage most peoples hair. If you haven't already checked out the book Curly Girl you should take a look.

Styling my thick hair...?

when your hair is wet. use a holding gel then blow dry. While you are blow drying, use a barrel brush and curl your hair around it. make sure you use hair lotion to protect your hair from the heat. Hope I helped!

Styling my thick hair...?

okay.... i think you should mix it up a bit like.... straiten it ALL one day.... and then the next day curl it or try something new!!!

Styling my thick hair...?

I have really thick hair too. I've found it easiest to keep it long and layered, so its a bit thinner and easier to style.

The most versatile style is no doubt having your hair straightened. If you don't have a ghd or similar straightener I suggest you get one. Because the ghd has no edges and a round barrel, it can be used for straightening or curling (or waving). I've found a remington straightener which has adjustable heat, which I've found necessary for extra thick hair.

Put a leave in conditioner in your hair after you shower... reduces frizz. When its dry, straighten it (except for the 5cm of hair closest to your head... will keep hair looking cleaner for longer) and then style it. Put a shine serum/spray on the ends. Use hair spray conservatively... quick mist over all hair (hair should stay dry).

For waves, you can plait it once its been straightened and spray it heavily... leave it in for a few hours then take it out and use your fingers to spread out the waves. Or you can put HEAPS of mousse (because hair is so thick) on wet hair once out of the shower and crunch it up with your hands so it dries wavy. If you do this, do NOT brush.

Alternatively you can use the straightener but its a bit harder to explain (much easier to just demonstrate).

For curls, use a straightener rather than a curler because the straightener will create even curls all the way down the length of your hair. With thick hair especially, curlers just curl the hair closest to the heat... ie. the bottom of your hair will be very curly with the top virtually unchanged.

Hope that helps!

Styling my thick hair...?

I have super-thick, wavy hair, too. This is what I do, and I get a lot of compliments about my hair:

After you get out of the shower in the morning, towel-dry your hair so it's damp but not WET. Scrunch it with a little bit of hair gel on all sides so it's curly, and then clean up the frizzies on the top with hairspray. (And then DON'T brush it when it's dry because then it'll poof out like you're in Ancient Egypt.)

OR

Straighten your hair and immediately after you finish, use just a little bit of smoothing milk (that stuff is GREAT btw) and run it through your hair really fast so the straightening doesn't have a chance to curl up. It keeps the frizziness down and makes it nice and shiney.

Hope this helps!

What hair type and styling is needed for this haircut (see pic)?

The picture is here: http://www.essensuals.co.uk/07/content/p...

I have thin hair, not much body, a little wave depending on how it's cut, but mostly just straight.

What styling would I need for this cut? Does this cut require thicker hair? Could I air-dry or would I have to blow-dry?

Any advice about this cut is appreciated! 10 points to the most helpful...

What hair type and styling is needed for this haircut (see pic)?

After you shower add volumizing mousse evenly throughout your hair and blow dry with your head upside down to get more volume. If your hair is not naturally very straight you may have to take a straightener to it to get the bangs to look like the picture. To finish styling your layers add hair putty or hair wax and that will make your hair stay up in chunky jagged layers.

What hair type and styling is needed for this haircut (see pic)?

probably thin - medium hair.

you would probably have to blow dry to hold the shape.

and ask your stylist about products!

What hair type and styling is needed for this haircut (see pic)?

I'm in love with that picture!! The hair style is so cool!! I have thin hair too, without much body, and I think that style would work perfectly with our type of hair. I also think that air-drying would work. But watching the hairdresser blow it dry would be interesting. And be sure to ask her what she's putting on your hair before she blows it dry. (They always put something on there without telling you what it is!! I hate that!!) Good luck! I hope you love it. :)

What hair type and styling is needed for this haircut (see pic)?

Well you would need a little body in your hair, however you don't want it too heavy or you will not be able to achieve the choppy look in the back. You would have to blow dry and use hair wax it is awesome.

What hair type and styling is needed for this haircut (see pic)?

Cute! Everyone else gave you enough advice.

What hair type and styling is needed for this haircut (see pic)?

Oh my gawd, that's the haircut I've been working on myself - you kind of need an angled do, I've spiked my back but you can gel it to go the sides like that with pomeade

It's best with a straightener and lots of product to make it stay, love the pic

What hair type and styling is needed for this haircut (see pic)?

get your hair layered and then use volumising shampoo/conditioner and/or volumising mose it so works i have the same look and my hair is very thin. hope i helped

What hair type and styling is needed for this haircut (see pic)?

ok what i think you should do is ask ur stylist that did ur hair what would be the cutest way to style it because she knows your hair almost as much as you, i can guarantee. i think by the picture and ur description of your hair, you should straighten it over, like the model in the picture, and even try scrunching it at night and wearing it curly. i dont think this style was meant for thick hair. i have very thick hair and i think that if i tried that cut, my hair would be a very big poof ball !!! lol ! i think you could dry it both ways. i hope u get the hair u want ! good luck ! :)

What hair type and styling is needed for this haircut (see pic)?

Take the pic to the person who cuts your hair and she will do her best to make your hair like that. When I wanted my hair a certain I'd look in a mag and pic out a hair style I liked and my cousin Nikki did it that way. Good Luck!

Hair Style Product for fine, straight hair that puffs up and frizzes after showers?

I have fine, straight hair that puffs up and frizzes very bad after I take a shower and dry it off. I'm a male and want to give it a weighted down look with the straight look and without the frizzes. Is there any type of hair styling product I can use to fix this? I don't want to use gel because it hardens the hair and beeswax gives it that gooey/smelly effect. Thanks.

Try BedHead's "After Party".. it just makes the hair really light and soft... It might help tame the frizz.

use conditioner in the shower. there are also "leave in" conditioners you can apply to damp hair after showering.

note to the chick who uses pantene- don't. ask your stylist, she should confirm that almost all products, and i know this sounds silly, the start with a "P" are bad for your hair. but i've heard this from several sources. i think it has something to do with containing silicone.

2) buy the shampoo and conditioner called sunsilk they have a kind for every hair need

Hair Style Product for fine, straight hair that puffs up and frizzes after showers?

There are some sprays, for this I'm not sure what brands, they are located in the same isle as the shampoos, they will say for frizz control, many women use these, but they work the same on men, one of them are (excuse spelling) Garnier nutrients, in a green round bottle, this one pumps out, you put a small ammount one the hand and work it through the hair.

Sounds like you might be a good candidate for a blunt bob. It's a cut that goes just above the shoulders and curves in slightly. The blunt cut give it more fullness making it look thicker, and it's easy to maintain without products or chemicals so your hair stays healthy!

Need Hair Style Help!!?

Having you hair cut in layers will help bring out the body and will allow you to keep most of the length

I think you should get long layers. Make sure they aren't short because it doesn't look that great with short hair. Another thing that would look cute would be blonde highlights. If you have a striaghtner, then use it evry once in a while. But it does give you split ends. But everything else doesn't. Hope this helps!

Hair styling advice. Is it possible to scrunch super straight hair?

I have very very straight hair. It dries straight without me needing to do anything and I get not one wave. My hair is also pretty long.

I try to curl my hair, but it doesn't really hold. I've put in styling spray and then hot curlers, but after about 30 minutes, the curls are very deflated. I've been wanting to scrunch my hair, but I don't think my hair will cooperate with me. I tried it once and it just stayed straight and had a bunch of gel in it.

I was just wondering if anyone else out there had this problem and figured out a technique to make super straight hair scrunched, and stay that way.

Thanks.

(ps. I'm familiar with how to scrunch hair for cooperating hair, so please don't leave answers about how to apply the gel and squeeze because that doesn't work on me.)

Hair styling advice. Is it possible to scrunch super straight hair?

Well, I have jet straight hair, too and I always scrunch my hair! All my friends and classmates say it looks great! I had to experiment to find a way. The way I do this is:

1) After getting out of the shower, I towel dry my hair, so it's jst damp.

2) Then, I brush my hair and then towel dry it again.

3) Next I put moose, gel, and some hair spray in my hair and push the hair up, just so it is a little bit wavy.

4) After that, I take all of my hair and make it one big clump of folded, twisted, and scrunched up hair and use at least 2 hair ties to hold it in a bun.

5) Then, I spray the bun with more hair spray, and then blow dry it a little, then spray it, then blow dry it a little, spray it, until somewhat dry.

6) Finally, I go to sleep, and wake up in the morning and take out all the hair ties, and my hair is scrunched like everyone else's.

7) Then i just shake out all the knots or whatever is clumped up, but just DON'T BRUSH IT!

8) Then I just hairspray it all over so that it stays all day, and it works every time for me!

Hope this works for you!

Good Luck閳?br>Hair styling advice. Is it possible to scrunch super straight hair?

You need to simplify your routine...you're missing out on life 閳?br>Hair styling advice. Is it possible to scrunch super straight hair?

not possible without curling iron and good curl activator spray

Hair styling advice. Is it possible to scrunch super straight hair?

I wouldn't scrunch it, only because it enhances naturally curly hair. If I were you, I would put plain, soft rollers in your damp hair, and blow it dry using a diffuser. This creates soft curls really well.

ps- don't use too much product.

Hair styling advice. Is it possible to scrunch super straight hair?

Its so hard for straight hair to keep its hold. Years in the salon business has taught me that.....As your hair is long it drags the curl down making it drop out 5 times as fast as shorter hair!! Have you considered shorter layers?

Hair styling advice. Is it possible to scrunch super straight hair?

my hair is kind of similar..when i scrunch it it just looks all frizzy but a straight frizz...Layerd hair seems to help a little w/the curling part...If you dont have layers you should try and get some..or just get a perm :)

Hair styling advice. Is it possible to scrunch super straight hair?

i know how you feel. striaght hair isnt so easy to work with sometimes. I firgured out that it is posssible to scrunch my str8 hair tho!

1.Start off with wetttttt hair. MUST BE WET

2. Add in mousse and frizz cream.

3. Take a blow dryer with a diffuser attachment on and dry your hair scrunching as you dry. A diffuser attachment evaporates the water in your hair without blowing a stream of air to your locks.

4. Add in gel. I prefer to use spray gel, but whatever works for you. [Keep scrunching]

5. If your hair stillllllllllll isnt working, scrunch, and hold your hair to your head and spray hairspray.

6. Keep using the diffuser until your hair is completely dry or else your hair will fall out.Trust me when i say this!

Following these steps your hair should scrunch perfectly!Good Luck!

Hair color and style for ASIAN girls?

what hair color/highlights looks good on asian girls, such as indian. Which hair style? I have straight long hair. and they are so boring . I tired to curle them but never worked. I want to change my hair color and hair style too. its too boring and makes me look boring. I want some thing that would make me look hot and won't be too hassel to take care of. I have had layer hair cut before and then back to straight hair style. i always do the same thing with my hair. Can some one gorgeous looking help me out, heehe, can you guys plz reply with some pictures. THANX

Hair color and style for ASIAN girls?

Add layers for volume and movement.

Don't go any lighter than a golden blonde highlight, or it will look like grey hair from a distance.

Lighten your hair color but only two or three shades lighter.

Easy hair styling tips?

i have naturally straight hair. In the morning, i have about 20 minutes to do my hair. and i straighten out the little kinks in the morning with my straight iron. I just dont have time to curl my hair --- it has so many layers, and its to my mid shoulderblades! If you have any really really easy tips for someone who wants to be more outgoing with her hair, let me know! (btw -- i take a shower at night, so if you have any tips on like, wet hair that you sleep in, that'd be great too! i've tried braiding it but my hair just turns into a big poofy mess.) thanks so much :) --%26lt;3--

Easy hair styling tips?

You could scrunch your hair.

Easy hair styling tips?

you could loosly braid your hair so it would look natural when you wake up in the morning. It works because I have naturally straight hair and its so frustrating in the morning because I never have time to curl my hair either, and I dont want to just straighten my hair every single day. Sometimes I put my hair in a big messy bun which takes about 2 minutes or less.

Easy hair styling tips?

use bed head and style it every which way :)

Easy hair styling tips?

I curl my hair at night and then pin each curl up and sleep on it

Styling hair into a bun?

can someone give me easy and clear guide to style my hair into a bun? I have seen people twist their hair, then use something like a chopstick to secure their bun, and i really want to know how to do that? I have bought that 'chopstick' thing but have no idea how to use it...please, thanks! Because it sure will look nice when i wear my cheongsam to a traditional party sooner! Please!!! Thanks

Styling hair into a bun?

The modern bun, or chignon, is a favorite hairstyle among fashionable women. It's surprisingly quick and easy, and it's sure to win you a few admiring glances.

Instructions

閳ヮ敼TEP 1: Begin with clean, dry, tangle-free hair. You may opt to blow curly or wavy hair straight for a smoother look. Work a little mousse through your hair and tame any flyaway hair with a drop of anti-frizz serum before starting your chignon.

閳ヮ敼TEP 2: Brush your hair back into a low ponytail. Shorter side layers can be pinned back with jeweled hair pins or a head band. Get a firm grip around the base of the ponytail and use your other hand to twist the tail into a tight spiral.

閳ヮ敼TEP 3: Hold the base of the ponytail with one hand, then lift the tail straight up with the other. Begin to coil it clockwise around the base. When you've made half of a circle, release the hand holding the base and use it to hold the forming bun as you continue to coil the tail of the chignon.

閳ヮ敼TEP 4: Complete one rotation - a little more if you have longer hair - then tuck the end of the tail under the chignon. If your hair is long enough, you might be able to push the tail through the bun and make a knot.

閳ヮ敼TEP 5: Secure the chignon using a few prong-shaped bobby pins or a hair stick. Push one pin through at any outside edge, collecting a small amount of the bun as you make the insertion. Secure the opposite side with a second pin. If you're using a hair stick, push the tip up through the right corner of your chignon, so that a thin flat layer rests on top of the stick. Rotate the stick 180 degrees and push it gently through the base of the bun. As the stick begins to emerge, hook a small amount of hair on the underside of the left corner, then center the stick.

Tips %26amp; Warnings

閳ヮ敳et your fingers do the work. With a little practice they'll learn where to put all of the things you can't see. Look at the final results and let your fingers feel areas that might need an adjustment.

閳ヮ敧o not pull or twist your hair too hard - hairs might break or fall out.

閳ヮ敽ake care not to poke your scalp when inserting pins and hair sticks. If you encounter any resistance, remove the fastener and begin again.

Styling hair into a bun?

Buns are the easiest hair do ever, just put your hair into a pony tail, twist the ponytail around the bottom and then circle the top where your hair band is, use bobby pins to secure your hair there and then place the chopsticks through diagonally.

Styling hair into a bun?

What I usually do is take the chopstick, stick it in about an inch into the bun, and then point the chopstick up as if going over a bump, and then poking it back down again. It gives a better grip of the chopstick in your hair and holds it better. Try this with the other chopstick as well, if you're using two.

Otherwise, you can always secure the bun with a hairtie matching your haircolor and stick the chopstick through anyway. I'm sure no one will notice, or care.

Styling hair into a bun?

Check for http://www.targetwoman.com it will help you to manage your hair and have different look.

Styling hair into a bun?

do a low ponytail and then twist your hair and while you are twisting it do a normal bun in the hair. then once the bun is there jam the chopstick into the centre of the bun - this part might hurt if your not used to putting chopsticks in your hair. anyway this is easier to do in thinner, shorter hair and long thick hair may not remain in a bun.

because i have the long thick hair i just make a normal bun with hair ties and then put the chopstick in my hair after the bun has been secured with hair ties...good luck - it may take a few tries to get the bun to stay after putting the chopstick in.

using two chopsticks is another option if the bun doesn't stay.

this is how I learned

Elaborate hair style ideas?

I have long hair which is very fine and naturally straight. I added a pic to give you an idea of the length and texture, though it's now a little longer and I'm going to dye it darker here soon.

My main problem is that I'm bored with the styles I know how to do with it. Even my quadruple braid style that I got from Nelly Furtado's 'Turn off the lights' video has gotten boring. I love strange and elaborate styles, and I would appreciate suggestions on different things to do with it (besides cutting it off, of course.) Don't worry about it being too crazy; if my hair was thicker I'd be twirling it into Leia-style cinnamon buns.

Thanks!

Elaborate hair style ideas?

Layers perm curls short dyedblonde

Elaborate hair style ideas?

well if it is fine your in luck because it will be easier to work with.

A few suggestions that i did when i had long hair...

For an up do - make two or three ponytails in the back centre of your head then roll both ponies and pin with bobby pins...this can be done all over the head as well.

Small buns all over your head.

French Braid the top sections and leave the bottom sections loose or braid all into one big plait.

Curl and crimp your hair to give it texture and differing lengths to play with.

Also - Phoebe from friends played by Lisa Kudrow always does funky stuff with her hair and it has never been shorter than her shoulders

Elaborate hair style ideas?

You can always try giving it some color to give it a little more flare.

Proper styling tips for hair?

a proper hair care regimen consists of 4 parts:oiling, shampooing, conditioning and drying.and then if one has to stlyle he must apply serum and then gel to style .

but i've seen my otherwise normal hair turns oily.do you think if i apply gel the work of conditioning and syrum will be done?also please suggest some herbal (truly herbal)shamppos, conditioners and gels available in india?

will applying pure aloe vera gel before stepping out for styling the hair be a good idea?

Proper styling tips for hair?

no. If the gel dries, and you move while sleeping, your hair can break. But the natives of my country and others near, maybe i India as well, use Aloe Vera as a shampoo, they apply the gel, let it dry and then rinse it, and it leaves hair super shiny%26amp;healthy, and it's antiseptical too!

Proper styling tips for hair?

#As much as possible, use natural and organic hair-care products. Many commercial shampoos, conditioners, and rinses contain chemicals that in the long run can damage the hair. Daily or regular shampooing, rinsing, and conditioning with natural products can help keep hair healthy and beautiful. Looked for hair care products with wheat germ, jojoba, and/or coconut oil, keratin, vitamins such as biotin, panthenol, vitamin A, E and essential oils. When applying shampoo, be sure to massage the scalp, as this activates circulation and energy flow, and stimulates hair at the roots. As much as possible, avoid using electric hair dryers, hot curling irons and let the hair dry naturally.

Proper styling tips for hair?

Hairstyles in both men and women vary with current fashion trends and often used to determine social status. Hairdressing is the art of arranging the hair or otherwise modifying its natural state. Closely related to headgear, hairdressing has been important part of the dress of both men and women since antiquity and, like dress, serves a number of functions. The most important qualities for hair are that it be healthy, shining, and in a flattering, easy to manage style. U will find many things suitable to ur taste and preferences on the following links. Styling Hair on the move...?

I love to style my hair with a hairdryer. Sometimes, I wish I had one to create volume at my roots whilst on the move. As no such thing as a cordless hairdryer exists...do you have any other suggestions re hair appliances??

Styling Hair on the move...?

Uhmmm...there is such a thing as a cordless hairdryer. Not the best IMO but great if you are traveling. I see it at Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, etc. Cost around 10 bucks or so. Sucky thing is that it wasn't built to last or for long term usage.

Styling Hair on the move...?

Check the top shelf, since most of them that I have seen are located there. Report It

Styling products for naturally curly hair?

ok I have naturally curly hair and it seems like no matter which products I use, my hair always turns out either really frizzy and poofy or my hair is crispy and looks wet. What are some good products for styling curly hair? And how does one use them? Do you apply it to wet hair, comb it through, scrunch it?? Please help!

Styling products for naturally curly hair?

I would recommend using a texture cream for curly hair. Some good ones are: Aquage Curl Defining Cream or Alterna Texturizing Glaze. A cream based product will keep moisture in the hair so it will be less frizzy, without being greasy, and your hair will not have that crunchy feel that gels give. A lot of times on clients I will mix a curl defining cream with a mousse to give the hair a little bit more hold, while still keeping it from being crunchy.

Styling products for naturally curly hair?

garnier fructis curling gel.. apply to wet hair and scrunch like crazy... hahah

hope this helps!

Styling products for naturally curly hair?

put frizz ease on wet hair and let it air dry. DO NOT BRUSH OR COMB IT.

Styling products for naturally curly hair?

well i think the best thing that u can use is some oil or grease nd use that to style ur hair cause i know alot of people who uses mostly grease but it really works i would suggest the grease that is called baby dont go bold u could get it in alot of places

Styling products for naturally curly hair?

Use paul mitchell clean sculpting gel and then apply it when your hair is wet. Keep scrunching it until your hair is dry so you won't have that wet look. I also have very curly hair and find thats the best way to style it. Take my advice, I know what I'm talking about.

Styling products for naturally curly hair?

I shampoo and condition my curly hair with Aussie shampoo and conditioner (moisterizing).

Then I run a comb through my hair so it's not tangly.

Next I spray Aussie "Hair Insurance--leave-in conditioner" all over my hair.

After mess my hair up a little so all my hair is back to curly. (throw your head back and forth, side to side, etc.)

Then I use Herbal Essences curl-gel. (I forget what it's called exactly but it's the purple container in the States!) I squeeze about a baby tomato size into my hand and scrunch my hair. Make sure there isn't gel all in one specific place!

After that I dry my hair using a diffuser. A DIFFUSER is essential for us girls with curly hair--it saves your freakin life I swear lol! A diffuser drys your hair without the frizz. When my hair is about 80% dry I spray Tressume Hair Activator Spray all over. This is supposed to "activate" the curl without the frizz.

After that I dry my hair with the diffuser till my hair is about 90% dry.

I let my hair air-dry the rest of the way while continuing to scrunch my hair with my hands every once in a while.

NOTE--the products I use are meant to prevent frizzy hair, but too much of them can overdo it!

GOOD LUCK!

My hair style/coloring?

i like the emo hair styles like this one:http://www.urbandictionary.com/zoom.php?...

but my hair is like this

http://z.about.com/d/beauty/1/0/C/E/Oval...

and it is about this color

http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2007/ga...

and i want to put purple streaks in my hair like the ones in the emo hair picture do you think this would look okay? also if you can find any websites of people with this sort of hair style please give them to me. i am going for a punk/rebellious look.

My hair style/coloring?

emo hair.....wow, get a life.

My hair style/coloring?

it would probably be a nice rad change.

My hair style/coloring?

I think it would look fine just maybe a little different!!!

My hair style/coloring?

wow, lame

My hair style/coloring?

ur hair is really pretty as it is, i have some friends who went for that look, and have regretted it ever since, its so drastic

My hair style/coloring?

Yea it looks good but I would dye all my hair a darker brown or black...then put purple streaks in

If you wanna see more pics of cool hair just type in scene kids on google

My hair style/coloring?

Purple I think wouldn't make the statement you're looking for. Especially if it's a violet, which I'm assuming it would be. If you're trying to create a dramatic statement with your hair (lovely color by the way!) go for something that works with the tone.

Your type of caramel calls for warm colors. Hot pinks, like ******* would look fantastic. Blue, green and purple are cool tones that would look messy, not cool. Also avoid bleaching your hair, it's overused.

Hope this helps!

My hair style/coloring?

if your doing purple streaks dye your hair darker

My hair style/coloring?

yay u and me have the exact imagination of emo hair! xDD i think that you'll look great with that hair color! and think you should try www.ratemyemover.com ^^

My hair style/coloring?

cool

My hair style/coloring?

my friend has hair kinda like that.just dye your hair black first.it would look better with the streaks.trust me.

Dry hair after styling! help!?

Hi all! I have curly long hair, almost wavy, looks nice and moisturised if i dont touch it, but if i dare to style it (blow dry, brush, straightening iron etcetc) it gets really dry almost like an afro... I dont know what to do. any sugestions on products? i wish i could blow dry it to make it nice and pretty but still have a nice moisturized looking... help please? 10 points to the best answer. thank you all

Dry hair after styling! help!?

Try some Biosilk silk therapy serum. It will leave your hair feeling smooth and controllable. It really is a great product for moisturizing hair and controlling frizzies.

Dry hair after styling! help!?

products are key! i also have curly hair but like to wear it straight. i found dove and tre semme have really great shampoos to avoid getting split ends and adding moisture to your hair (and they smell so nice!) but before you blow dry you should definitely get a thermal heat protector i use either dove's intense damage therapy heat shield styling spray or got2be's blow dry lotion and it definitely helps. you'll be able to see a difference. plus it keeps your hair healthy %26amp; shiny. good luck to you :]

Dry hair after styling! help!?

One suggestion is John Frieda's Frizz-Ease Thermal Protection. It really makes hair soft and amazingly shiny. And no fizz!

My other suggestion is Ojon Hair Restoration Treatment. About a month ago, I highlighted my hair and it left it like highlighted straw! I used the Ojon and I was truly shocked and amazed by the results! My hair was like silk. So shiny and well behaved. The once dried up ends had become healthy and conditioned. I couldn't stop touching it. It was like having a new hair style and I just wanted to play with it! Even my hubby noticed and that's a hard thing to do. It comes in a little brown jar and a pamphlet that tells you the many ways to use it. You can use a little and leave it in for that really shiny moisturized look or you can rinse it out like I did. I left it on for an hour first. And yes it costs more then drugstore brands but man, it is worth every penny! Plus a jar lasts a long time. I highly recommend this product. I don't usually get this excited about hair products but this stuff is magic! You can get it at sephora, drugstore.com, QVC, and ojon.com.

I really hope you try it. It truly is amazing!

Hair styles help!?

Check out thousands of hairstyles using http://mo8.org for links to websites offering different hairstyles, tips and free makeovers, you will be able to find something suitable. You can also upload a photo and try different hairstyles

Hair styles help!?

Sweep it up in back and catch it with a barrete...put a fake flower on the side of the bun

Hair styles help!?

go to the hairdresser and ask for the best hairstyle for ur hair

Hair styles help!?

you can use a hair straightener (not very expensive, abt $14++ and you can use it for a very long time) though your hair is straight. it will help your hair look neat and nice. then use a pin to clip your fringe back (leave the sides). you'll look great!!
