My friend swears by Infusium 23 ( I think it's called that).

If she has curly hair try Aveda's be curl, or Ouidad products. Curling cream or even Phytodefrisant hair balm are great products!

It depends on what she is mixed with. Growing up half African American and half German, I had the same problem. So far, I have found that mousse and hairspray work the best for me. I also add in some coconut oil so that i don't get the hard scrunchy look.

The Pantene product line works really well on both straight, curly or afro/kinky hair types.

Not sure which your child falls into, but this is a really dependable product line for all...especially given that not all mainstream products work well with afro/kinky hair.

Hope this helps :)

It depends on so many things. Does she want it curly or straight. Is it long or short. Bi-racial hair varies from person to person, some being more like "white" hair and some being more like "black hair". My best advise is not to wash it too much, "black hair" has very little natural oils and should not be washed daily or it will dry out and break.

If you let me know how you want to style it I can let you know what to use. I've had my hair long, short, straight and curly and have tried dozens and dozens of different products over the years.

Infusion 23 should only be used if you are not biracial. Other wise it gives your hair elasticity that will only cause more tangles and fly aways. I highly reccomend teh John Frieda Line of Frizz-Eze. I am Biracial and 32 years old and this is the best product I have ever found. My daughters too use it. He has a serum called Secret Weapon that helps with the fly aways and leaves the hair completely smooth. They should be used together. For a quick style use shine gel. This is not a hard touch gel, it leaves the hair manageable and you can still run your fingers thru thier hair. Another good product when you are straightening the Hair is Pink Spray. Having mixed hair is hard to deal with, I have dealt with it my whole life and now I have four girls with the same hair type. So I am learning what works and What doesnt

Water based oil lotions are great for biracial kids. My daughter is three and has mid-back length curly brown hair, I keep it tamed and shiny soft with four essential hair products, BB hair lotion, Just for Me detangler, a light rinse out conditioner, and baby shampoo. I don't use anything in her har that contain petroleum or mineral oil because they do nothing but sit on the hair and clog the pores, I style her hair while its wet and saturated with detangler, after I'm finished combing it I put on the lotion and really don't have to comb it any more cause by then she has perfect spiral curls. I might put it in a ponytail or a few braids... I do a conditioner wash every other night to keep it soft. I wash her har 2x a week with the mildest baby shampoo and condition it afterward with olive oil sometimes, but usually its a regular moisturizing rinse out. If I want her hair to stay in place, I use this stuff called JAM, its a non drying safe to use on kids kinda gel, it doesn't flake and it isn't sticky or hardening.

You should really try Curls products, it is a line for curly hair of multi- racial, and biracial hair types. It helps moisturize , detangle, and define natural curls. They are great! Plus the moisture in the products will really help frizzy hair. I hope this HELPS!

If your daughter is a child use the first link i've listed if she is older use the second link. Good Luck!!

I use henna deep conditioner (to control some of the frizz), that also very cheap, then i use 'aussie' products and serum. I never use gel or hairspray as it makes the hair look really wirey.

Unfortunately i have tried everything, so it may be good to go to a hairdresser that specializes in afro hair.
