layers would look gorgeous. It makes the hair look thicker. You just need to style it all the time. Curls look great. There is also a product called Thicker Fuller Hair. That also works! Stay away from flat straight styles.

I also have fine thin hair. i personally have found that layers makes my hair look frizzy. I have decided that after having long, med. and short hair, that short to medium length hair is best on someone with thin hair. It gives the illusion of thicker healthier hair. i now have my hair about chin length in a bob and love it. any longer and thin hair starts to look stringy

Hair style tips asap!!?

Ok, so i washed my hair this morning and let it air dry today. I'm goin out later tonight, and need some ideas on how to style my hair without using a flat iron or curling iron. I know, doesnt leave me with too many options since I didnt apply and gel or volumizing mousse. Also wandering if there are any products I can apply after my hair has dried? When my hair air dries, its pretty straight, but a little wavy also. Guess what I'm trying to say is its not the real big volumed wavy hair, but straight with some waves. I'm trying to stay away from the blow dryer and any hot irons right now, to give my hair a break. I'm considering not doing anything to it, except maybe pulling the top sides back in a little clip and goin for the undone "kinda messy" do! B/C to me it actually looks ok, just wandering if anyone had any ideas. Maybe i've answered my own question, but any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Goin very casual tonight, so I dont wanna do too much to it. Thanks girls!!!

What are some alternatives to gel for styling hair?

I've always used hair gel for my hair...I don't necessarily want to style it, it's just that my hair is very thick and just...poofy looking. So I use gel to keep it looking sleek. I just don't really like using gel because it makes my hair look wet and it feels hard and that bothers me...like nobody can touch my hair with gel in it. And then I have to wash it out before I go to sleep or it feels gross.

So any other alternatives to hair gel? I just don't want my hair looking all frizzy (it's completely straight, no waves or curls).

my hair is a little longer then mid back..i'm going to get my hair cut to get the bad ends off but would also like a different style..my hair is naturally curly..sometimes i leave it curly..other times i'll straighten, and other times i'll curl it once it's been straightened for more loose fluffy curls.

i would like to find a hair style with side bangs and maybe some layers..but basically want to keep the length of my hair because i like it long.

I finally got my hair trimmed, styled and deep conditioned. So when I left it looked very nice, silky, bouncing and HOTT!

After a few washes at home its been looking bland and annoying

I usually wash my hair with Pantene PRO V shampoo and the Pantene (anti frizz/restoratives) conditioner, and before and after I blow dry I use DOVE serum/moisturizer, then I'd flat iron it (with a non expensive flat iron..Revlon) and it has always worked fine (before I went for my trim), Now my hair looks styled but wavy ish. Maybe since it's healthy and breathing now I should consider buying a CHI flat iron...what do you think?? Any input on my hair crisis would be greatly appreciated, thank u and Happy New Years!

for striaghter hair i suggust switchjes over shampoos to sunsilk's line. [i forget what the kind is called but its the blue bottles]

also from making it bland, try a volumizerr for extra omph.lol

try a different flat iron,a better one and make sure to spritz protection spray before straightening.

I use the same shampoo you do, I have no problem as my hair is baby fine and long and never is full. I use olive oil on it once a week during the winter because it seems to break more, it helps heal my hair and make it fuller. I just rub it in my scalp to the ends of the hair and leave in for an hour. If you still have problems go back to the Hair place and ask them what they use. Buy it and try it.

I heard the original black Chi breaks and the turbo Chi is better, the Hai, Sedu, Solia have good reviews. The Babyliss brand is good too and cheaper but the Conair Infiniti 100% solid ceramic flat iron works real well and has a 5 year warranty and Conair makes the Babyliss brand makes me wonder why spend alot of money on a flat iron.
